Bristol II: John Andretti preview

* Andretti has 17 starts at Bristol Motor Speedway. He has an average start of 26.2 and an average finish of 23.6 with a best finish of 2nd (03/25/01) at the .533-mile oval.

* Andretti along with team owner Beth Ann Morgenthau will sign autographs at Food City Family Race Night on Thursday, Aug. 23 from 6:00 -8:00 p.m. The activities will take place on State Street in downtown Bristol.

Andretti on Bristol Motor Speedway: "Racing at Bristol is going to be different since the track has changed. I'm interested to see just how different it is. I plan to watch both the Truck and Busch Series races to see what works differently and how the transitions in the banking work. The Car of Tomorrow is still quirky when it comes to getting the racecar to do what you want it to do. The combination of that and the new surface should make for an interesting race."
