Robby Gordon Bristol Preview

Robby Gordon will debut the No. 7 Planet Color / Barrett-Jackson Dodge Charger this weekend under the lights at the "World's Fastest Half-Mile" during the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway. With a new sponsor onboard, Gordon looks to tackle one of the toughest tracks on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule.

New Sponsor - "I am excited to have Planet Color and Barrett-Jackson on board this weekend," said Gordon. "It's always great to welcome new sponsors, and we are keyed up about this opportunity. It's a great chance to show the fans all the possibilities that Planet Color finishes offer." Remarks on Bristol - "Our goal is to get a good qualifying run in on Friday and save our car until the end of the race on Saturday," said Gordon. "The key to Bristol is survival. It's a 500 lap race where a lot can happen, but we are confident that the No. 7 Planet Color / Barrett-Jackson Dodge will have an awesome debut."

Saturday's Sharpie 500 will mark Gordon's 16th appearance at the high-banked bull ring in the Sprint Cup Series starting on the front row once and recording one top-15 finish and six top-20's. He also has two Nationwide Series starts at the 0.533-mile oval.
