Tickets for 1999 First American Pole Day at Bristol Motor Speedway, featuring seven-time NASCAR Winston Cup Series champion Dale Earnhardt and 1998 NASCAR Busch Series Grand National Division champion Dale Earnhardt Jr., arrived this week in time to fulfill holiday gift-giving needs.

First American Pole Day, April 9, 1999 will culminate with the determination of the Bud Pole winner for the April 11 NASCAR Winston Cup Series Food City 500. The 1999 ticket, third in a series at Bristol, features photos of both drivers and their cars.

The senior Earnhardt is wearing his trademark sunglasses, reflecting an image of the half-mile speedway's front straightaway. Earnhardt Jr. is shown with a First American Pole Day hat at Bristol in March shortly after he won his first career NASCAR Busch Series Bud Pole Award. First American Pole Day is Friday, April 9, featuring Bud Pole Qualifying for both the Food City 500 and NASCAR Busch Series Moore's Snacks 250.

Tickets are on sale now at the speedway ticket office for $15 in advance ($20 day of event), plus $4 shipping and handling per order. Express shipping is available for an additional charge.

Please order by Dec. 18 to ensure delivery before Christmas. To order, call the ticket office at (423) 764-1161.
