"Bristol is a tough track because the racing is so close. There's not a lot of room to pass unless you're up front and you continuously have to deal with lapped traffic. That's why track position is so important there. Back in the NASCAR Busch Series Jones spent his weekend off filling in for his injured teammate Larry Pearson. Jones drove the No.00 Cheez-It® Pontiac in the NASCAR Busch Series race at Nashville Speedway on April 3 and finished 12th. Pearson pulled his back muscles in a practice session crash at Texas Motor Speedway, but plans to be back in the car in Bristol.

Bristol Facts Jones claimed the outside pole for the NASCAR Busch Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway in March of 1998 and led more than 80 laps at the .533-mile track during the 1997 and 1998 Busch Series seasons.

Appearances Jones will be signing autographs on Thursday, April 8th at the Meadowview Convention Center in Kingsport from 5-7 p.m.
