CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Jan. 1, 2001) Less than a week into 2001, NASCAR's top two circuits will be on display for fans anxious to get a sneak preview of the new season.
The Busch Series Ladies Association will hold its annual Busch Series Preview on Friday at the Charlotte (N.C.) Convention Center. The event features a driver autograph session as well as vendors, exhibits, show cars and auctions of racing memorabilia.
As always, proceeds from the daylong event go to charity.
Speaking of charity, that's the theme of the 12th annual T. Wayne Robertson NASCAR Winston Cup Preview, scheduled for Saturday at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, N.C. More than $2 million has been raised at the previous 11 events, prompting organizers to call the preview the largest single-day charitable event in North Carolina.
Every driver on the circuit is to be on hand Saturday, when the attractions will also include show cars, souvenir trailers and various forms of entertainment. -nascar.com-
