* Andretti has 22 NEXTEL Cup Series starts at Lowe's Motor Speedway with a track best start of 3rd (10/09/94; 05/26/96; 05/24/98; 10/11/99) and an average start of 22.0. He has one top-10 and four top-15 finishes at the speedway with an average finish of 24.0 and a best finish of 7th (05/24/98).
* BAM Racing has eight starts at the 1.5-mile quad-oval with an average start of 33.9 and a track best start of 21st (05/29/05). The team has one top-10 finish at the speedway with a track-best finish of 9th (05/29/05) and an average finish of 30.4.
John Andretti on Lowe's Motor Speedway: "JRacing at Lowe's Motor Speedway is like a homecoming. There are people that work hard at the shop each week that don't go to the track on Sunday. This race is an opportunity for them to come out with their families and see their hard work in action. You always want to do well in Charlotte and make everyone proud. We have been working for some time now to rebuild our race program and make races. I am ready to continue these efforts at Charlotte by qualifying on Thursday and racing competitively on Saturday night."
