"We have been looking forward to bringing the Stanley Tools/Valvoline Dodge Charger back to Lowe's Motor Speedway (LMS) ever since we last raced there. In that race, we had a shot to win the 600 but a pit miscue cost us. However, both weekends we ran strong (All-Star and 600) and in two separate chassis. It showed that Rodney Childers and the team had hit on the right setup. Hopefully the fact that we are coming back to Lowe's with softer left side tires will not effect that. Charlotte is a track that we have proven we can contend for the win at, but our goal is to have that same performance week in and week out."
