KYLE BUSCH, No. 18 M&M's Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 10th

How was your car in qualifying in Cup and your Nationwide car in practice? "Not bad. The Nationwide car seemed to be really good and always, typically is. Pretty good here, know what I need in the car so we got that early and just decided to save our stuff. Here, the M&M's Camry wasn't bad. Just unfortunately I underdrove turn one a little bit underestimating the grip the track had and the car had. Had to go for the second lap to try to get a little more out of it. Got a little more out of it and wish I could have run about a 20-something (two-tenths of a second) then that would have been pretty good."

JOEY LOGANO, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 12th

Is this a race track that you enjoy? "I really like this race track and there's a ton of grip. We were hauling the mail out there, I can tell you that. It is fast and even since we started practice it's just been fast. People have been saying that this is a big grip race track and I like a big grip race track. It works good for me and we have a good set-up every time we come here. Me and Zippy (Greg Zipadelli, crew chief) work good here and it goes to show tonight. I know we didn't have a thing even close. I was hoping that maybe I could run a 20 (two-tenths of a second) if everything just went right -- the car was right and everything was right. Everything wasn't quite right so it is what it is. We will start pretty good. We will have something to work with and something to pull through with and work on our race trim stuff tomorrow."

MARCOS AMBROSE, No. 47 Kingsford/Clorox/Bush's Toyota Camry, JTG-Daugherty Racing
Starting Position: 13th

How was your qualifying lap? "I'm just really pleased that I brought it back in one piece. This is a brand new car. I'm really pleased with our development on one-and-a-half-mile programs. I'm excited about it. I beat Carl Edwards, so that's something, right?"

Why are the lap times so fast? "It a cold track and there's a lot of grip at this place. And Goodyear has come back with a really good tire. It's a combination of the team's working their stuff in the COT, improved tires, cool track -- we're laying them down."

Can you explain the speeds during qualifying? "Anything that is sub-29 (second lap time) is getting it done. And this place tonight feels so fast, it's insane. You got tires that are working great, really cool track and really good horsepower with the cool conditions. It's just insane. I'm just pleased I brought it back. It took my breath away and it's not often I'll say that."

DENNY HAMLIN, No. 11 FedEx Office Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Starting Position: 17th

Is there a lot of grip in the tires and the race track with the cool temperatures? "There's a lot of grip in the tires and a lot of grip in everything. The conditions are just ideal right now for a lot of speed. With speeds like this you can't really race that well, that's the only thing. Also side-by-side racing will be for sure limited so you're just going to have to be patient when you're around guys and kind of take it a little easier than you would on a qualifying lap. Our car was okay, it wasn't spectacular. We worked on it and got it a little better than what we were in practice and that's kind of all we could hope for."

ROBBY GORDON, No. 7 Freightliner Toyota Camry, Robby Gordon Motorsports
Starting Position: 19th

Did the cold temperatures speed up your qualifying run? "Actually we ran a little slower than we ran in practice. We made a last minute air pressure adjustment out there and I was just a little loose getting in. We took a little air out of the right front tire and looking back at that, it's always easier to say that we shouldn't have done that, but if it would have been better then we would have been happier. We weren't tight, we listened to a lot of guys on the radio that said they were tight, tight, tight so we figured we better do something because the car was pretty balanced in practice. I'm happy, my Toyota is running good and the guys are working hard. We have burned the midnight oil lately trying to build cars capable of running with these guys. If we can qualify inside the top-15, we have a shot at it this weekend so I'm happy about that. This is the best car we've had in a while."

Starting Position: 21st

BRIAN VICKERS, No. 83 Red Bull Toyota Camry, Red Bull Racing Team
Starting Position: 30th

How was your qualifying lap? "The track had a lot of grip. We got behind in practice because of the cylinoid and some issues that we had at the beginning of practice. We beat ourselves again at the beginning of practice. Luckily, it didn't cost us too much time because the track was running late otherwise we probably would have missed most of practice if not all of it. We spent 45 minutes or more and some of the beginning of practice trying to get the engine started again. This time it turned out to be a cylinoid, who knew. I don't know if it's bad luck or lack of preparation, but we just need to do a better job of that. By the time we got on the race track, a car blew up right in front of me and I missed my first run. I went back out for my second run and there was ‘speedy-dry' all over the race track. We only got two good runs in and the car was too far off on the first good run and by the time we got to the second, we were still off and just didn't really get a good practice session. We paid for it I think, but we made the most of it and recovered the best we could giving everything that happened to us. We just have to stop beating ourselves."
