"We've qualified really well here in the past and just need to get the race results out of it. The Mobil 1 Dodge has been great from the first lap that we put on it today. I'm looking forward in having the opportunity to race well. We've been qualifying well; we just need the cars better for the beginning of the race. We're going to have a big transition tomorrow night with the temperature. I'm looking forward to that.

"We've been struggling a little bit in race trim. When we switched over to the spoiler, it threw us for a little bit of a loop. The cars were a lot tighter in the race and we just had a hard time getting where we needed to be. We feel like we're heading in the right direction. I was real happy with the Mobil 1 Dodge last weekend. The end of the race was a bummer. Everyone is anxious. Everyone is trying to go and giving each other a little bit less room. We got ourselves stuck in the middle because a couple guys got loose in-front of us and there just wasn't enough room. It was unfortunate for sure. I'm looking forward to this weekend. Chicago has been good to me in the past; I've won a few races here and celebrated a couple (IRL) championships here."

KURT BUSCH (No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge Charger) Qualified 22nd

"Not a bad qualifying effort for our Miller Lite Dodge. We had a nice pick-up from practice. That was all that I could get out of the car. We're missing a little bit of speed, but we worked on a new race trim project to help advance our mile-and-a-half program because you can never stand still. We'll go back to more of what we had at Charlotte. Chicago has been a tough track for me. We're looking for a nice solid run here tomorrow night; maybe we can get a top five out of it."

DO YOU EXPECT THE TRACK TO CHANGE MUCH TOMORROW NIGHT? "I hope it does. That would be great for us. I hope to gain some right-side grip to make our right front turn better through the middle and keep that right side from sliding out."
