HAVOLINE TEAM FACTS:

Chassis: The Havoline team will race chassis #307. Chassis #307 is the same car the team ran at the Brickyard 400 at Indy and again at Michigan two weeks ago. In three starts, Chassis #307 has a best finish of third (Brickyard 400 - 8/3/03).

McMurray finished 22nd at Darlington back in March in his NASCAR Winston Cup Series debut at the raceway.

McMurray used his third-place finish in the Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway last weekend to take the lead in the Raybestos Rookie-of-the-Year point standings. He owns a three-point lead over Greg Biffle entering the Mountain Dew Southern 500 this weekend.

McMurray enters Darlington Raceway 22nd in NASCAR Winston Cup Series points.

McMurray has scored more top-five (four) and top-10 (six) finishes than any other Raybestos® Rookie this season.

McMurray has led more miles than any other Raybestos® Rookie entering the race at Darlington: 11 times in five races for 154.70 miles (75 laps).

JAMIE MCMURRAY QUOTES:

"Darlington is definitely a track that you have to give respect to. There's a reason it's called 'The Track Too Tough to Tame.' Darlington's surface eats the tires very bad and you have to be patient and get your car to handle on the long runs at Darlington. The key is to just be around at the end and try not to get too many 'Darlington Stripes' on your car."

"We had a good run going at Darlington in the spring until we got caught up in an accident. We were able to finish and I gained a lot of track experience. This team is coming off a strong finish last weekend at Bristol and I think you'll see the momentum carry over this weekend and our Havoline Dodge should be a contender."
