DAVID STREMME TO PILOT NO. 40 TUMS DODGE CHARGER AT CHICAGOLAND SPEEDWAY
TUMS Racing Ready for Weekend of Food and Fun

PITTSBURGH (July 03, 2007) -- The close competitive racing in the Nextel Cup Series can inspire heartburn and indigestion among even the most seasoned competitors and racing fans. Fortunately that shouldn't be a problem at Chicagoland Speedway for Indiana-native David Stremme, who will be driving with a special TUMS paint scheme on his No. 40 Dodge Charger.

The No. 40 TUMS Dodge Charger will feature a stunning blue design that prominently showcases the signature TUMS logo across the hood and both rear quarter panels. The rear of the Dodge features TUMS trusted tablets.

"We are thrilled to have David driving the No. 40 Dodge Charger at Chicagoland Speedway," said Bill Kollitz, TUMS Br and Manager, GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare. "We know Chicagoland, with its competitive racing and colorful cuisine -- including deep-dish pizza and Chicago-style hot dogs -- inspires heartburn among both fans and drivers. When it does, TUMS is there to put out the fire with fast relief."

"TUMS has been a great partner throughout the course of the season," said David Stremme, driver of the No. 40 Dodge Charger for Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates. "I'm proud to race for them this weekend. Chicagoland is a special place for me. I made my first start here. Now I want to get my first win here while driving the No. 40 TUMS Dodge Charger."

David Stremme, who grew up in nearby South Bend, Indiana, made his Nextel Cup Series debut starting 31st in the No. 39 Dodge at Chicagoland Speedway in 2005. His 16th-place finish was his best of the four Nextel Cup Series starts that season. In 2006, Stremme finished 21st at Chicagoland in his first season as the full-time driver of the No. 40 Dodge.

TUMS Celebrates the Tastes of the Town

Chicagoans love their local cuisine, and should heartburn strike, TUMS is ready to provide fast relief. In honor of its run at Chicagoland Speedway, TUMS wanted to recognize the favorite local fare that Chicagoans find most TUMS worthy. The winners?

* Nearly 20 percent (18.9%) selected Chili Mac's Five-Way Chili as the winner in the Hottest Heartburn category -- the restaurant that serves up the spiciest sensations

* For the restaurant Most Likely to Inspire Indigestion -- the one with the most indulgent, tasty dishes, 28 percent voted Portillo's top of the charts

* In the category of Most TUMS worthy -- the locale with the most satisfying Chicago-style fare, 26 percent of Chicagoans chose the Billy Goat Tavern

* For Chicagoans, the number one heartburn-causing dish is Chicago-style pizza, with 22 percent of the votes. Chicago chili was second with nearly 10 percent of the votes, and classic Chicago hot dogs were third with nearly 5 percent.

* When Chicagoans have heartburn or indigestion, a whopping 42 percent turn to TUMS most frequently for relief, three times more frequently than they chose any other over-the counter heartburn medicine.

TUMS Drives Home Awareness with "Dinermobile"

TUMS brings its iconic diner imagery found in many of its commercials to life as part of the TUMS Racing program. The TUMS "Dinermobile" will be on display at the Taste of Chicago June 29 through July 5, along with the TUMS Racing simulators. Fans will have an opportunity to learn more about TUMS' fast relief and simple solutions for heartburn, and sample new TUMS products.

The TUMS "Dinermobile" also will travel to Chicagoland Speedway where it will deliver fast relief for fans at the Fan Midway area July 13th through 15th.
