* Chevrolet has won 41 of 96 Gatorade Duel races held beginning in 1959, more than any other manufacturer (the two-race event was not run in 1968 due to weather issues)
* Jimmie Johnson, No. 48 Lowe's Impala SS, will start on the pole of the Gatorade 150-mile Qualifying Race No. 1 as a result of being the fastest qualifier of the 53 entries for the Daytona 500
+ Johnson will start on the pole of the 50th running of the Daytona 500 no matter where he finishes in his 150-mile race
* Jeff Gordon, No. 24 DuPont Impala SS, leads active Team Chevy drivers with four Gatorade Duel victories - '93, '02, '06, '07
