Blaney's Thoughts on the Weekend..."I think we've made some really good progress over the last couple of weeks. We've actually qualified pretty well all season, but we've been good right off the truck lately and that obviously makes the weekend a lot easier and a lot better. Finish-wise, we've got a ways to go, but we keep getting better every week, and that's the key. The progress our program has made over the course of the season is something we're all proud of. There's a long way to go until we'll be satisfied, but we've come a long way as well.

"I love racing at Chicagoland. These mile and a half tracks are probably my favorite places to race, and our entire Cat team is excited to be going there. Chicagoland Speedway is relatively close to Peoria, Ill., where Caterpillar is based, so there are always a lot of people associated with Cat at that race. We'll try our best to put on a good show for all of them."

Jeremy Mayfield on This Weekend..."Last weekend was really disappointing because we had a car that was obviously fast, and I think we would have raced pretty well. But, sometimes things are just out of our control, and last weekend in Daytona was one of those instances. Nonetheless, I think it boosted the confidence of the team a bit, and hopefully we can carry that into this weekend at Chicagoland. We're getting closer and closer to getting over the hump, you know, and we're not quite there yet, but I'm proud of this 360 OTC Racing crew because they've really stuck together and not given up. Hopefully the second half of the season will be better for us than the first."
