* After a successful seven-race run in 2009, Bobby Labonte makes his first start in 2010 for TRG Motorsports in the Budweiser Shootout.
* Labonte's status as a past Cup Series Champion qualifies him for the race.
* The Budweiser Shootout at Daytona will be the first time Labonte will be reunited with Crew Chief Doug Randolph. The duo was paired together at Petty Enterprises in 2007 and both look to continue their successful run in 2010.
* This No. 71 Chevrolet, chassis number 220, will be making its on-track debut with TRG Motorsports.
Behind the Wheel - Bobby Labonte
"I'm really excited to get back behind the wheel and on the track at Daytona for the Shootout. It's always a fun race to run, and you never know what's going to happen, so it should be a great show for the fans."
"The guys at the shop have done a lot of work in the off-season and I'm looking forward to having Doug back on top of the pit box calling the shots for me. We've had a great working relationship in the past, and we saw some success together. I know we're going to be able to continue where we left off and have some solid runs this year."
"I got a little bit of track time when I ran with TRG in the Rolex 24, but it was a completely different experience and totally different car. I'm ready to be back in the seat of a stock car and go out and have a great time in the Shootout."
From the Box - Doug Randolph
"I've got a new sense of purpose as we start the 2010 season. I'm with a new team with TRG, I've got a great group of guys that I work with and I'm really looking forward to working with Bobby again. He and I have had a great working relationship in the past and I think we'll be able to have a lot of success this year."
"The Shootout is always tricky. It's a fun race and it's exciting for the fans, but you never know what's going to happen. It's an entirely different game of strategy than you have with the 500. And it never hurts to have a little bit of luck on your side."
From the Owner - Kevin Buckler
"We're very enthusiastic over the idea of being a part of the Shootout this year. It wasn't that long ago that we were just hoping to make the Daytona 500, so to be able to take part in all of the festivities that Speedweeks has to offer with a Championship-winning driver is really a big deal. Though we've got a good portion of the season sponsored by TaxSlayer.com, we do still have primary sponsor space available for a new partner in the Shootout."
