TARGET CANCELS 'HALO 3' EVENT AT DOVER NEXTEL CUP RACE
DOVER, Del. -- September 22, 2007 -- Due to yesterday's tragic shooting at the University of Delaware, Target Corporation and Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates have cancelled a previously scheduled Halo 3/NASCAR media event originally taking place at the Dodge Dealers 400 at Dover International Raceway on Sunday, Sept. 23.
"The victims and of yesterday's shooting have our deepest sympathies," said Target Senior Buyer, Troy Peterson. "Although we were looking forward to hosting the event for Microsoft's Halo 3 launch, in light of the recent events we felt strongly it was best to cancel the press event."
