CORNELIUS, N.C. (May 28, 2008) -- J.J. Yeley and the DLP HDTV / Hall of Fame Racing team head to Dover (Del.) International Speedway for this weekend's Best Buy 400 Benefiting Student Clubs for Autism Speaks NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race.

However, they made a pit stop, of sorts, on the way. Immediately following Memorial Day, the DLP team traveled to Long Pond, Pa., for a two-day Sprint Cup Series test at Pocono Raceway, site of next weekend's Pocono 500.

After a brief respite back in Charlotte Wednesday night, the team will make the trek north to Dover and gear up for the 400-lap event on the 1-mile concrete oval.

A busy week? Sure. But the first days of the annual summer stretch are here. And it begins in the First State -- a.k.a. Delaware.

J.J. YELEY, driver of the No. 96 DLP HDTV Toyota Camry:

Do you see Dover as a bigger version of Bristol?

"I guess it would be fairly close to the same as far as the way you drive the race track. You can change lanes and run the middle groove or outside groove and it seems to work well. You will see cars in all three lanes, especially later in the fuel runs. Dover is a fun track to go to. A lot of these tracks have changed as far as the way you drive them because the new cars are so much different than the old car."

Does the two-day test at Pocono before Dover make for a long week?

"It's not too bad. It's always good to go test and learn some things. It changes your week up a little bit, but it's not all that bad. Pocono is a challenging track to set up for, so the more time you can get there, the better."

You are playing in the seventh annual Drive for Autism Celebrity-Am Golf Outing this week, followed by racing in the Old Spice Prelude to the Dream next week. How much do you enjoy participating in charity events?

"I really enjoy it. Artie Kempner and everybody at the Drive for Autism golf outing put on a first-class event and it's really a lot of fun to play in. The week after that, we go to Eldora to race dirt late models for charity. I think what's unique about both events is that we not only get to raise a lot of money for some great causes, but we also get to have fun doing it. The Drive for Autism golf outing raised $500,000 last year and the Old Spice Prelude to the Dream raised $800,000. It's a pretty good feeling to know you're not only having fun golfing and racing, but also participating in events that will raise more than $1.3 million combined. That's pretty cool."
