Brian Vickers lost three positions in points thanks to a left-rear wheel that called it quits on lap 184 of Sunday's 600-miler. After leading 61 laps, Brian finished 42nd at Lowe's Motor Speedway and sits 20th in the driver standings. The Chase's 12th and final berth is 251 points away entering the Best Buy 400 at Dover.

In the No. 84 at LMS was AJ Allmendinger, who persevered through NASCAR's longest race to finish 20th. He picked up one spot in the ever-important car owner standings, but being 39th still means AJ must make up 176 points to be guaranteed of a starting spot.

In AJ's last appearance on the Dover concrete, he qualified 11th.

Red Bull Racing's David Coulthard steps out of the paddock and into the garage this weekend, as the Formula One driver pays a visit to Dover prior to the Canadian Grand Prix.

"I'm interested in all sorts of racing, but hardly ever get a chance to see anything other than Formula One," DC said. "So when Red Bull came up with the idea of shooting a promo film around their NASCAR operation on the week before the Canadian GP, it seemed like a great opportunity to go and see why this form of racing is so popular in the States."

David will get a feel for a full-bodied, fendered car when he sits in the No. 83, and he'll partake in Red Bull Racing Team's pre-race briefing. He's coming off a 19th-place showing Sunday at Monaco — a two-hour race compared to the four and a half of the 600.

Both Red Bull Toyotas were fast on the flat track during testing at 2.5-mile Pocono Raceway. Brian's No. 83 timed in 10th on Tuesday (163.041 mph), with AJ's No. 84 a row back in 12th (162.693 mph).

They maintained pace in day two. AJ was seventh fastest (166.611 mph), and Brian came in 12th (166.503).

Behind the Craftsman Truck Series' exciting three-wide finish Saturday at Mansfield was Scott Speed, who ran 15th in the Ohio 250. That gives Scott three finishes of 15th or better in five truck starts this season.

Scott returns to Bill Davis Racing's No. 22 Red Bull Toyota for Friday's truck race at Dover. His ARCA schedule doesn't resume until June 7 at Pocono.
