Robby Gordon's Quotes on the Neighborhood Excellence 400

"This is a big weekend for us. We'll be running two trucks, the Chevy CK1500 and the Hummer H3 in the Baja 500 on Saturday and the No. 7 MAPEI/Menards Chevy in the Cup race on Sunday. I grew up off-road racing and I look forward to every time I get to go run the Baja. It's a lot of traveling, about 11,000 miles overall, but we should be a contender in both races and hopefully we can defend our title in Baja. Dover is an extremely physical track. It has banking in the corners like Charlotte but most people compare it to Bristol; a high-banked, concrete bull ring. We have run well here in the past and with a new sponsor this weekend we hope to put on a good show for them and the fans."

MAPEI/Menards Fast Facts:

* Chassis -- Chassis No. 106 will make its first appearance since
a top-15 run at Darlington. Chassis No. 109 will serve as the back up.

* Points Position -- Following the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte, the driver of the No. 7 MAPEI/Menards Chevrolet remains in the 28th position in NASCAR Nextel Cup point standings, only 81 points out of 20th and 181 points out of 15th.

* Playing in the Dirt -- Gordon, widely regarded as one of the best off-road racers of all time, will attempt to defend his Baja 500 title in the Red Bull and Toyo Tires sponsored Chevrolet CK1500. With over 750 horsepower and almost 40 inches of wheel travel, Gordon will be tearing through the Baja Peninsula at speeds more than 125 mph.
