The stats that were due yesterday will be coming up next.
Lake Speed to sit out Dover
The Melling Team and Lake Speed has withdrawn from Sunday's race at Dover and will run a limited schedule for the rest of 1997 and seek sponsorship. The Melling team currently plans to attempt in seven more WC events in 1997 including both Michigan races, the California race and the Brickyeard 400.
Jeff Greens Team
The three crews of the Winston Cup team, The Elliott Sadler Grand National team and the Jeff Green Grand National team will be blended together, Jeff Green's old Crew Chief Wes Word will be phased in as the crew chief of the Winston Cup car, not sure what role present crew chief Bob Galbranson will take.
