Sadler and Pedigree Team to fetch for a win in California.
"I am well rested and ready to go for another few weeks. I've been reading the power rankings and predictions and am happy to see they are more positive then before the season started."
-a well rested Elliott Sadler commenting on his media coverage.
VIEW FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT WITH ELLIOTT SADLER:
"Our speedway program so far this year has been incredible. We have qualified and ran inside the top-20. It is really cool to get out to the west coast a couple times a year -- fans seem like they are just different than what NASCAR is used to. It's also good for the sport to get out into the other markets like Los Angeles.
"California Speedway is a huge two-mile racetrack that calls for a good motor. Robert Yates horsepower has never let us down so our expectations are to qualify and finish in the top -10 this weekend, maybe move up in the points and keep the momentum for this team going into May. The track itself is very fast with long sweeping turns. The fans will get to see three and four wide racing all day."
VIEW FROM THE PIT BOX WITH CREW CHIEF RAYMOND FOX III:
"We built Elliott a brand new car for California. I am still amazed at how good he is after his performance in Martinsville. We certainly have a good driver behind the wheel of our race cars."
SPOTTER BRETT GRIFFIN'S VIEW FROM ABOVE THE TRACK:
"California Speedway is a huge racetrack so the biggest challenge is keeping Elliott out of trouble in the beginning of the race and during re-starts. Once the cars get spread out it's almost like we're all fans on top of the roof enjoying the race. The spotter doesn't play a big role at California Speedway unless the driver they're working with has a lot of bird's eye views to the wrecks."
