"It was good. We had a really good car. For teammates to be up front like that, it's incredible. The Chevy motors run great."

DID YOU HAVE A BOBBLE THAT KEPT YOU FROM THE POLE?

"Yeah, but that happens sometimes, it sucks. If you go back to the last four times that I qualified here, I hit the fence, I've been sideways out of four and I thought this year I had it. I knew I was going to get really close to the wall and I knew I had a good race car and I didn't want to scratch it so I put a little more wheel in it and got it a little sideways."

TALK ABOUT YOUR EXPECTATIONS FOR SUNDAY:

"Lately it's been getting better and better. The first time I came here, I qualified really well and thought that I really liked this place because I always ran really well here in Indycars and in the race here I couldn't get out of the way fast enough. It's a tricky place. It's fun, once you get the hang of it and you understand where to run and how to use the track to help you then it's a lot easier place."
