Biffle re-ups with Roush: After months of speculation of where Greg Biffle will drive in 2006, the question has finally been answered. Biffle resigned to remain at Roush Racing as the driver of the No. 16 Ford.

"It just took a little while to iron out the details but I'm really happy to be making this announcement," said Biffle. "I've had a long, successful career at Roush Racing with the Truck and Busch Series Championships and I'd love to bring Jack his third Nextel Cup Championship. This National Guard team is at the top of its game right now and the energy is so high, it's just a really good feeling as a driver to be in this situation.

"I think you'll see a few more wins out of this team before the end of this season and we're doing everything we can to be ready for those final ten races. You never know how things are going to play out but we can at least make sure we're in the best position possible heading into the 'Chase'."

Biffle is currently second in series standings trailing leader Jimmie Johnson by just 41 points. He is considered one of the top contenders for the 2005 championship with three wins and four top-five finishes.

Fed-Ex to 18 car this weekend: Due to Jason Leffler's failure to make the Coca-Cola 600 in the No.11 Gibbs Chevy, primary sponsor Federal Express will serve as sponsor on the No. 18 car of Bobby Labonte this weekend instead of Interstate Batteries.

Labonte was to run a paint scheme promoting the new animated film "Madagascar" but sponsors agreed to postpone that scheme until the Pocono race two weeks from now.

"We can't thank Interstate Batteries and FedEx enough for enabling us to deal with this setback in the most positive manner possible," said J.D. Gibbs, president of Joe Gibbs Racing. "We stress teamwork throughout Joe Gibbs Racing. To have Interstate Batteries, who has been with us since day one, and FedEx, our newest sponsor, and Bobby Labonte and the #18 crew work through this bit of adversity so seamlessly speaks volumes about the quality of our sponsors and the character of our team."

Rumors of Leffler's impending release from the 11-car have heated up in recent weeks. The struggling driver wrecked two race cars over the All-Star weekend and failed to make the show on time for the Coke 600. Martin Truex, Jr.'s name has been mentioned as a possible replacement in 2006.

Craftsman/Sears renews: Sears and NASCAR announced Thursday that they have renewed as title sponsors of the Craftsman Truck Series for the next five years.

"Sears' outstanding support during the past decade has helped the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series become one of the hottest motorsports properties in America, which continues to draw new fans and provide tremendous value for sponsors and media partners," said George Pyne, NASCAR chief operating officer. "Craftsman's commitment, coupled with additional marketing support and in-store exposure from the Sears-Kmart merger, will help take the series to new heights."
