NASCAR switching fuels in 2008: The New York Times is reporting that NASCAR will switch to unleaded fuel beginning in 2008, making the switch from the high octane formula that is currently used.
The fuel developed by Sunoco is already being utilized in the Grand American Road Racing Series.
Toyota to make debut in 2007: It is expected that during next week's media tour in North Carolina that NASCAR will announce Toyota's introduction into the Busch and Cup series in 2007.
Toyota already fields cars in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.
McMurray unveils new ride: New Roush Racing face Jamie McMurray unveiled his new No. 26 Ford, which overtakes the No. 97 vacated by Kurt Busch. Crown Royal will serve as the primary sponsor for 18 races and Newell-Rubbermaid (Sharpie and Irwin tools) will be the sponsor for the remainder of races.
After testing: After six days and two sessions of Daytona pre-season testing Jeff Gordon is the quickest Cup driver with a speed of 188.466 mph.

Earnhardt gets own show: Dale Earnhardt, Jr. will host his own show on XM Satellite Radio beginning next month on channel 144.
"I love racing and I love XM, so I definitely couldn't pass up on an opportunity to combine the two," Earnhardt said. "It's a perfect fit."
Earnhardt will discuss personal interests, video games and what is going on in NASCAR racing.
"Listeners to my new show on XM will get a real sense of who I am both on and off the track," Earnhardt said. "Thanks to XM, I'll have a national weekly radio show that allows me to speak my mind, play my music and, most important, keep in touch with NASCAR fans."
