HOMESTEAD READIES TO SELL NASCAR WINSTON CUP TICKETS

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (Nov. 30, 1998) - The Miami-Dade Homestead Motorsports Complex is preparing for an onslaught of calls and visitors today (December 1) at 9 a.m., when tickets go on sale for the debut of NASCAR Winston Cup racing in South Florida - the Nov. 14, 1999 Jiffy Lube Miami 400.

To assist with the anticipated heavy demand for tickets, the Speedway has made available four options in which to place ticket orders:

· The ticket order form is posted on the Speedway's official web site, www.racemiami.com, giving fans the option of printing the form and filling their order via FedEx. · The Speedway will activate a toll-free fax service at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. Customers must have access to a fax machine to use this service, which will be available by calling (800) 853-4766. The form will be stamped with the time and date, and orders will be processed in the order they were requested from the fax service, as long as they are received in the Speedway ticket office by December 7. · Customers can place their orders by calling (305) 230-7223. · Customers can visit the Speedway ticket office in person. The ticket office is located in the main office building, with the Speedway located four miles East of the Florida Turnpike on Speedway Blvd. (Exit 6).

The state-of-the-art Speedway is offering a three-event ticket for 1999, including the March 20 Florida Dodge Dealers 400 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race in addition to the Nov. 12-14 Jiffy Lube Miami 400/NASCAR Busch Series weekend. Priority will be given to fans requesting the three-event package, with remaining seats allocated to fans requesting a two-event package, including the Jiffy Lube Miami 400/Busch Series finale. Three-race packages are $100-175, while two-race packages are $75-150.

The addition of NASCAR Winston Cup racing gives the Homestead-Miami Speedway the most diverse schedule in the United States. The lightning-fast CART FedEx Championship Cars and NASCAR Craftsman Trucks open the 1999 season, March 19-21. The complex also hosts major international road racing in the annual Sports Car Extravaganza.

For additional information, call the Speedway ticket office at (305) 230-7223, or visit the website, www.racemiami.com. Also recommended are www.daytonausa.com and www.penske.com.
