Nadeau's best finish to date in the 2000 NASCAR Winston Cup Series season is 13th (California Speedway - April 30).
Nadeau's best qualifying effort this year was second. (Lowe's Motor Speedway at Charlotte, N.C. - May 28) 1999 Stats and Facts:
Nadeau started 13th and second, respectively, in the two races at Dover Downs International Speedway in 1999. He finished 30th and 16th, respectively.
Nadeau's season-high finish was fifth at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International.
Nadeau's best qualifying position was second at both Sears Point (Sonoma, Calif.) Raceway and Dover Downs International Speedway.
Nadeau's Thoughts on the MBNA Platinum 400:
"I really like Dover - it's probably one of my favorite tracks on the circuit. I qualified on the outside pole there last year in the fall and finished 16th.
"Dover is a tough track. As the race progresses, it becomes a two- or three-lane track. But the one thing about a concrete track like this is that if your car isn't handling well, it's going to show up even worse. Dover is really, really quick for a one-mile track. You have to be patient, keep your fenders on the car all day and stay in the lead lap to ensure a top finish at the end."
