SCOTT RIGGS QUOTES:

"We have had a couple of tough races here in the last two weeks and I am ready to get that turned around this weekend at Kansas. Rodney (Childers) is bringing chassis 130 back to the track this weekend. This particular Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge has run well for us at several tracks this season and we will be looking to better those results this weekend."

RODNEY CHILDERS QUOTE:

"Our results in the most recent two races don't reflect how good a job the guys on this Valvoline Evernham Racing team have been doing lately. We just have to keep working together and building this team so we can lead some laps and maybe win a race by the end of this year. That's what its going to take to be at the top of our game when 2007 begins."

QUICK FACTS:

* Last weekend, Scott Riggs started second and finished 33rd after a tire issue forced the No. 10 team to take its first DNF of the 2006 season.

* Scott Riggs has two Cup Series starts at Kansas Speedway. His best finish of 26th came in 2004.

* Since failing to qualify for the season-opening Daytona 500, the No. 10 team has climbed from 44th to 20th in Owner's Points over 26 races.

* Last week's DNF at Dover snapped a 25-race string of no DNFs for the No. 10 Valvoline/Stanley Tools Dodge Charger this season. Currently only four teams remain that have no DNFs in 2006.
