Bill Davis Racing Celebrates It's 10th Year in Winston Cup Racing-- Bill Davis Racing has designed a new logo that commemorates their 10th season in Winston Cup Racing.

Owners, Bill and Gail Davis, began as owners in the Busch Series in 1988 with driver Mark Martin. 1993 became the first season with full sponsorship in racing's premier series for up and comer Bobby Labonte.

"I'm very proud of what this entire organization has been able to accomplish over the past decade," said Davis. "Our first race shop was in the backyard of our house in Arkansas with just a few employees that were basically volunteers. It is amazing to see where we were 10 years ago and to see what we've been able to grow into. All I can say is I'm definitely excited about the future of Bill Davis Racing. I hope we will continue to prosper and grow for the next 10 years as well."

Bill Davis Racing currently employs approximately 150 employees and houses three race teams and two engine departments in about a 200,000 square foot complex.

Stoddard on last weekend's race in Talladega--

"I was very pleased with the way the car ran last weekend. We had a great racecar and we did everything we could have done to have won that race. If we had been the leader on the leader on the restart like the scoring monitor said, we would have had a great chance of holding everyone off and getting that win. But, we'll just have to wait until Daytona to try it again. I thought the rules were okay, I just don't think it accomplished what NASCAR wanted and that was to give the driver more throttle response."

Cat equipment for the Kansas 400--

"We're taking a brand new car this weekend, car #78, "said Stoddard. "We needed to expand our speedway cars and we found some things in the wind tunnel that would make this a stronger car then what we had. I think we're all working in the right direction with our cars. I'm just a little concerned with the new rules for next year. I think a lot of our bodies will have to be modified with the new rules."
