Matt Kenseth's thoughts on racing at Michigan:
Do you like racing at Michigan?
"I like Michigan because it's a fast race track. Speed is really important as
is good handling. Last year the race was shortened a bit by rain so hopefully
the weather will hold out this year. Also, Michigan is the closest track
besides Milwaukee to my home in Wisconsin. We will have some family at the
race as well."
Do you feel like you will be a contender for a victory at Michigan?
"We ran well here in the fall race and we're taking one of my favorite cars.
I always hope to be a contender for a win."
How important is this race to Roush Racing as an organization?
"Well, Michigan is really the home of Roush Industries. The truck series
shops are in Livonia. Our motors are built there too. There will be a lot of
Roush guests so its always nice to have a good showing in the race."
Crew Chief Robbie Reiser's thoughts on Michigan:
"We are taking car 6 to Michigan. It's the car that won last year in
Charlotte. We took it to Atlanta this year and were doing great until we had
a mechanical failure. The car handles on the speedways really well. It should
be a good showing for this DEWALT team. We need it."
