Matt Kenseth's thoughts on racing at Pocono:
You finished 6th in June at Pocono. This is your second top 10 in the three
races you've run there. Describe your success there. "It's a pretty unique
track and its real fast. I like those tracks that are a mile and a half and
up. We started towards the back in June and even though we had a good car,
it took a while to get to the front. So we are going to try and focus a
little harder on the qualifying effort so we can spend more time racing in
the front than trying to gain track position."
Does running well at a track during the first race of the year usually a good predictor of the performance for the second race?
"Sometimes it does, or at least it helps. The Pocono races are close enough together to where, unless something weird happens like a rule change or something, it makes it easier going back. You kind of have an idea, especially if you ran decent, what your baseline setups are going to be. Like I said before, I really like Pocono and I think we should be pretty good there."
Crew Chief Robbie Reiser's thoughts on Pocono:
"We are going to focus on qualifying better this race. We are taking car 5
back again so I'm hoping to break into the top five this week. We've
struggled on a lot of things this year so I hope we can put it all
together."
