LJ Racing lands sponsor for Dover race

DOVER, Del. (Sept. 16, 1998) LJ Racing announced today Larry's Homes, Inc. based in Smyrna, Del., has signed on as a sponsor for the MBNA Gold 400 at Dover Downs International Speedway, to be run this Sunday.

The Larry's Homes logo will appear on the hood, and the TV panel will display their web site address, www.larrys-homes.com. Todd Bodine will again pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet. Bodine's first race with the team was the Exide NASCAR Select Batteries 400 at Richmond International Raceway last Saturday night, where the team qualified 18th and led two laps.

"We are very excited to have Larry's Homes sponsor our race program for the Dover race," team owner Joe Falk said. "We are proud to have a local, Delaware based company on board for the race."

Larry's Homes began operations 31 years ago with one location in Bear, Del., just south of Wilmington, Del.; today they have 37 retail sales centers located in Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and North Carolina. And, they have four states targeted for future growth: West Virginia, Tennessee, Ohio and New York.

LJ Racing believes in the same hard work and customer satisfaction strategy as Larry's Homes, and is confident this will be evident when the No. 91 Larry's Homes/LJ Racing Chevrolet heads out on the track this weekend at "The Monster Mile."
