Loudon II: Mike Bliss preview

Mike Bliss will pilot the No. 4 Open Joist Dodge Saturday at New Hampshire. It will be Bliss' eighth start in the Bobby Hamilton Racing Dodge.

He will be making his 13th NASCAR series start at The Magic Mile this weekend. He has four NASCAR Nextel Cup Series stars, three NASCAR Busch Series starts and six NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series starts on the 1.05 mile oval.

Bliss will pilot "Duster" in the New Hampshire 200. This particular chassis scored a seventh place finish at Milwaukee in June.

Bliss and Crew head to the 'Magic Mile' with Memories of Milwaukee on Their Minds:
"New Hampshire is configured a lot like Milwaukee. We had a really good run at Milwaukee back in June. It was only my second race in the Open Joist Dodge and we were still in the process of learning each other. We struggled a little bit in qualifying, but ran extremely well and ended up seventh in the race. Since then we have ran consistently in the top five and scored several top 10 finishes. I have run well at New Hampshire in the past in several different trucks, but I am looking forward to seeing what we can do in the Open Joist Dodge this weekend."

Crew Chief Marcus Richmond on the Importance of the Shake Rig:
"Inthe three years I've been atBHR I cannot believe how much the technology in racing has grown. We have spent several of our off weekends this season at the Seven-Post Shake Rig in Virginia. It is unique in that it allows us to test setups and ideas on a computer simulated race track. For example, because of NASCAR'S testing rules I cannot go and test at New Hampshire this season. The Shake Rig allows us to test our ideas on a computerized version of the New Hampshire track. The biggest difference I have seen by using the Shake Rig technology is when I unload at the race track. Even after a two hour practice session our setups are very close to what we unloaded with."
