Camry drivers Tony Stewart (eighth) and Denny Hamlin (ninth) had top-10 finishes in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

TONY STEWART, No. 20 Home Depot Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing
Finishing Position: 8th

How did you drive back to the front of the field during the race? "I'm real proud of the guys. They got us track position to get us in an opportunity to get back on the lead lap with the lucky dog, and that was because of the guys' great pit stop before that. In just shows how the complexion of this sport can change from week to week. Last week it was a mistake in the pits, and this week it was a mistake on the driver's part. I got a drive-through penalty that got us way behind. We had some bad luck and then I made our problem worse with the speeding penalty. To fight back to eighth - I'm pretty happy with that."

What is your advice for Kyle Busch after a tough start to the 'Chase' today? "He just needs to go home and forget about it for the week. He's been the dominant force all year, and today was one of those odd days for him. You feel bad for him because you know they're better than that. But you know if there's anybody that can rebound from a day like today, it's that 18 (Kyle Busch) car and Kyle (Busch) and Steve Addington (crew chief) and those guys. They're not out of this yet."

STEVE ADDINGTON, Crew Chief, No. 18 M&M's Toyota Camry, Joe Gibbs Racing

What happened to the car early in the race? "We had a part failure and it's one of those things -- you can't do nothing about. We weren't very good when we unloaded here, but we felt like we did the right things and were going to have a good race car. Part failure cost us so we'll just have to go back and re-evaluate."

DAVID REUTIMANN, No. 44 UPS Toyota Camry, Michael Waltrip Racing
Finishing Position: 15th

How was your car handling in the race? "We just weren't very good and track position is really, really important. We just couldn't get any track position during the race and ended up finishing 15th, which isn't very good. Really disappointed and it was a long day, but it is what it is."

JOEY LOGANO, No. 96 Home Depot / DLP HDTV Toyota Camry, Hall of Fame Racing

Finishing Position: 32nd

What is your reaction to the race? "Not what I wanted -- that's for sure. It was a tough one. We tried hard, but it just wasn't there the whole time. It seemed like the end of the race we were getting it close from where we started the race to where we finished the race. If we could have worked on it from there then it would have been a lot better. We started so back in the hole trying to get this car good and we just got close to it too late."

How different was testing to actually racing the Cup car? "You're racing the same car so it's not much different. Racing is racing. I learned a lot and I take a lot from this for when we come back here next time. I just wish we would have had a little better run than that."

What did you learn today? "Just a lot of give and take out there. Again, there's a lot of take -- believe me. You see what these guys are doing and we'll see what we can do for the car for the next time we are here. We learned a lot there so we'll just have to take what we got."

Are you relieved that the first race is over? "No. The other races are coming up. I didn't think it was a big deal making my first start -- I was ready to go as soon as we started."

Were you able to earn respect today? "I definitely did that. Deep down inside I really wanted a better finish than that. After our practice session at Richmond, I thought we were going to have a lot better race car than that. We just missed it and got too close to it at the end. We got close to where we needed to be -- just too late in the race and we weren't able to work on it from there."

Can you describe the experience of your first NSCS race? "It was fun -- I enjoyed it. By lap 200 I wanted it to end because we weren't running worth a dang. We are going to take what we learned and go at it."
