"It's real important to try and qualify up front so you don't get into the wrecks. By running in the middle of pack you can really use your race car running traffic. Starting up front is a lot easier on the car."
"We came here and tested a couple of years ago and got a great set up. We got to use the basis of that set up ever since then and kind of tweaked it every time we come here for weather and move a few things around. I'm real happy the way my car has drove the past several races here."
"We were seventh practice. We just seemed like we were really good in qualifying last couple of times here. Today just we were just a little off. I think we found a little bit there between practice and qualifying to help the car."

"We had the car a little too free in qualifying. I didn't expect the
track to get as warm as it did. The car was good in practice. It spun
the rear tires in qualifying. That hurt us 3/10th."

"It's a real concern that we were that slow. My grip went away - the front was skatey and the rear was skatey."
