MATT KENSETH'S WINSTON CUP MICHIGAN RECORD
Date Start Finish Laps $ Won Status 8/22/99 25 14 200/200 25,040 Running

Notes of Interest
· At Dover, Kenseth solidified his lead in the Raybestos Rookie of the Year battle, jumping to a fourteen-point lead over Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
· Matt will be making his 20th Winston Cup career start at Michigan Speedway.
· At Michigan, Kenseth will be driving the same Ford Taurus he ran at California Speedway where he captured a 3rd place finish.
· In his last four Winston Cup starts, Matt has grabbed three top five finishes.
Matt Kenseth's Thoughts on Michigan
"I look forward to racing at Michigan because that is where we had our first start with the #17 DEWALT Ford Taurus and Roush Racing. We ran pretty good there for our first Winston Cup race together. It's one of my better tracks, it's similar to California and we had a real strong run at California this year. We're taking the same car, so I hope we can have an equal performance this weekend."
