Bliss Has Proven Record at Michigan International Speedway...

Mike Bliss has competed in all NASCAR elite divisions at Michigan International Speedway. Although the Busch Series will not race in Michigan this weekend, Bliss will attempt both the Craftsman Truck Series and NEXTEL Cup Series events. In the Craftsman Truck Series, Bliss has one top-3 and two top-10 starts with one top-5 and two top-20 finishes in just three starts.

Bliss has four NASCAR Nextel Cup Series starts at Michigan International Speedway. He has one top-10 start with a track-best starting position of 6th (08/21/05) and an average starting position of 21.0 and an average finish of 32.2 at the two-mile oval.

It is similar to Lowe's Motor Speedway, a track that I really enjoy, so I am looking forward to this weekend. We have struggled in qualifying lately, but we have regrouped and are focused on the task at hand. We intend to qualify on Friday and run a smart race on Sunday in Michigan."
