Geoff Bodine's new partner in his Winston Cup operation may be Rick Galles, the PPG CART World Series owner, according to NASCAR sources.

JACK ROUSH is considering starting a fourth Winston Cup team, according to Ford sources. Roush confirmed his interest in adding a team, but said he would likely be just a minority partner in the venture.

Nike, which may or may not be part of the Roush plans, has been very interested in a full-car sponsorship next season.

If R. J. Reynolds does drop its Winston Cup tour sponsorship, one company now mentioned as a possible replacement -- Walt Disney.Inc.
