MARTINSVILLE, VA, October 18, 2002 - Sirius Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI), the country's premier satellite radio broadcaster, officially announced that it will continue its partnership with Kenwood USA Corporation and field a second NASCAR Winston Cup team at three additional races this season - Martinsville, Phoenix and Homestead-Miami.

"We're pleased to be continue our partnership with Kenwood in this endeavor," said Joseph P. Clayton, President and CEO of Sirius. "Kenwood is a leader in their industry and one of our key hardware partners. Sponsoring a second NASCAR team with Kenwood is a perfect fit for Sirius as we continue to bring our 100 percent commercial free music and outstanding entertainment programming to race fans and consumers across the country."

Joining Sirius teammate Casey Atwood, driver of the No. 7 Sirius Satellite Radio Dodge, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) driver Ted Musgrave once again will pilot the No. 07 Kenwood/Sirius Dodge. Earlier this year, Musgrave competed at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where he finished 21st in the Brickyard 400, and Darlington Raceway, where he finished 27th in the Mountain Dew Southern 500. During the final two stops of the season, Musgrave will pull double duty, competing in both the NASCAR Winston Cup and Craftsman Truck Series events.

"Kenwood is proud to partner with Sirius in this NASCAR sponsorship," added Bob Law, vice president of sales and marketing for Kenwood USA Corporation. "Not only is NASCAR one of the most exciting and fastest growing sports in the United States, but its fans are loyal supporters of brands that sponsor their favorite drivers. With the veteran experience of Ultra Motorsports and Dodge Motorsports, and a proven driver like Ted Musgrave, we have a winning combination in place."

Musgrave returns to the Winston Cup circuit in the midst of a tight points race on the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Musgrave, driver of the No. 1 Mopar Performance Parts Dodge Ram, currently sits third in the points standings, just 149 points out of first place. In his first full season in the Craftsman Truck series, Musgrave earned seven wins, 13 top fives and 18 top 10s in 24 races, placing him as runner-up in the 2001 championship points standings in his first season in the No. 1 Mopar Performance Parts Dodge of Ultra Motorsports.

"This is without a doubt a tremendous opportunity for me, and I'm anxiously looking forward to racing the No. 07 Kenwood/Sirius Dodge three more times this season," said Musgrave. "We were competitive in Indianapolis and Darlington, so I am really looking forward to showing people how good this Kenwood/Sirius team can be. I know that if we are consistent, give it 100 percent and leave everything on the table, we will put together solid runs and finish strong down the stretch."
