After the shocking moment when Kyle Busch and Martin Truex Jr. collided on a restart in the final stage of the Brickyard 400, the two drivers kept their emotions in check.

The same cannot be said for their teams, however.

Following the crash, which ended both the No. 78 and No. 18's day, Busch's crew chief Adam Stevens went over to the Furniture Row Racing pit box to confront the team. He can be seen approaching one crew member who was sarcastically clapping in his direction. Another No. 78 crewman then intervened and the heated verbal exchange got a bit physical before the two were separated. A video of the incident was broadcasted on NASCAR Race Hub Tuesday afternoon.

Busch and Truex had been working together on the restarts for the majority of the race. But on the Lap 111 restart, Busch decided that it was time they had to race for it and so, the two drivers went off into Turn 1 side-by-side. The result was catastrophic. Truex got loose and slid up into the Joe Gibbs Racing driver, taking them both out of the race.

While Truex was going for his fourth win of the season and first in the Brickyard 400, Busch was trying to end a one-year winless drought and become the first driver in history to win the prestigious race three consecutive times. They finished 33rd and 34th, respectively.
