NASCAR Heat Champions Road to Miami Field of 12 set

With qualifying completed Saturday, 12 drivers are ready to battle for the $10,000 first-place prize Sunday morning at Homestead-Miami Speedway in the NASCAR Heat Champions Road to Miami Finals.

The nine qualifiers determined throughout the first nine weeks of the NASCAR playoffs:

Week 1: Nicholas Vroman - Catonsville, MD

Week 2: Brandyn Gritton - Fayetteville, GA

Week 3: Nick Walker - Anderson, IN

Week 4: Shawn Abbott - Marion, IL

Week 5: John Minitello - Royal Palm Beach, FL

Week 6: Hunter Mullins - Henry, VA

Week 7: Luis Zaiter - Miami, FL

Week 8: Josh Harbin - Tuscaloosa, AL

Week 9: Jeremy Smith - Hanahan, SC

The final three qualifiers from Saturday’s competition at the track were Dustin Staples, Christian Gomez and Kyle Crain.

The NASCAR Heat Champions Road to Miami eSports Tournament began in conjunction with the NASCAR playoffs. Nine weekly winners were flown to Miami to participate in the finals along with the three qualifiers determined on Saturday.

In addition to the $10,000 the winner will collect on Sunday they will also have a chance to win $500,000.
