NASCARFans E-Mail Newsletter ===== Anyone out there have an interest in Maxx Racing Cards? If so, send me an e-mail at mailto:mikeirwin@bigfoot.com (my personal mail account). ===== Here's good news for those of you close to Winston-Salem, from Country.Com Reigning WC champion Jeff Gordon and seven-time NASCAR WC champion Dale Earnhardt will be among the long list of drivers scheduled to appear at the 1998 NASCAR Winston Cup Preview presented by Hayes Jewelers. The event will be held Saturday, January 10, at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Winston-Salem, NC.

Nearly 20,000 fans attended last year's Preview, which has raised nearly $1.5 million for several local charities, including the Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary. The Preview is the largest single-day charitable event in North Carolina. "The NASCAR WC Preview is one of our premier events," said T. Wayne Robertson, President of R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. "The success this event has had over the years is very important to everyone at RJR because it allows us to take the incredible popularity of the WC Series and benefit three outstanding charities."

The Preview is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 10th. Tickets are $10 each, with children under 12 admitted free. You can purchase tickets by calling the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum ticket office or your local Ticketmaster outlet.
