Donald Keith Ulrich (U. S. Motorsports), former Winston Cup car owner, was involved in a plane crash at Pittsburgh's Allegheny County Airport, Tuesday January 6th at approximately 4:30 pm. The co-pilot of the plane was hospitalized with broken bones and lacerations, but D.K. and the other passengers walked away without injury. Noone on the ground was hurt, fortunately, but there were several homes destroyed by the fire. Ulrich last ran 4 starts with the #2 Chevrolet in the Winston Cup series in the 1990 season, with Rick Jeffery as the driver.
