As we may or may not have reported, Rusty Wallace was fined $5000 for comments that he made in the post race interviews at Martinsville. This is how responded to the fine.

>From the AP

On Friday, with no Winston Cup practice scheduled, Wallace had an armored truck deliver the fine in pennies, 500,000 of them, to NASCAR at Charlotte Motor Speedway. He was unaware that NASCAR already had received a check for $5,000, but NASCAR president Bill France Jr. went along with the gag, accepting the shipment with a smile.

NASCAR Fans website

The website as many of you may have already seen has taken on a new look. I'm interested (since this is your website) how you like the new look. Many of you have already responded, so in spirit of our surveys lately I want to conduct one of my own. We are still at a point that we can return to the old style. Take an opportunity to drop by and let me know about the porgress we have made so far. There are still sections yet to be created and others still to be completed. Drop me a simple line at von@nascarfans.com and give me a little feedback. We will soon drop an advertisement in Winston Cup Scene and before I do I want to make sure that we look good. Thanks in advance.
