Just read a report that Bud Moore will field a car for Greg Sacks in the UAW-GM Qualify 500 on Oct. 5 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

I can't quote the article due to AP copyright restrictions, but if you have web access you can go here http://www.wral-tv.com/news/sports/auto_racing/ to read the entire story. It's entitled "Bud's Back".

They are attempting to make it to Bud's 50th year involved in NASCAR, so they have to run a few races in 1997 in order for that year to count toward the 50.

I think this is great, and I hope they make the field.
