"I'm pretty happy right now with the Alltel Dodge. I like our qualifying yesterday. I like our practice sessions today. I like our pit stall tomorrow. It's a long race and the conditions will change a lot during the day, but I think we have a good race car. We've proved that we can qualify good here, now we have to go 500 miles and be in contention in the end. Track condition is key here and it won't be any different tomorrow. We've proven that we're plenty fast on long runs and that's a good sign."

KASEY KAHNE (No. 9 Budweiser Dodge Charger)
"We're pretty happy with the car heading into the race tomorrow. To run in the top 10 in both practice sessions today is a credit to our entire Budweiser Dodge team. We worked hard on getting the car to turn better in the corners because that's always key here at Phoenix. Kenny (Francis) really worked hard on long runs this afternoon and I think it will pay dividends tomorrow."
