Juan Pablo Montoya and No. 42 Target Team

Phoenix NSCS History: Montoya has six starts at Phoenix International Raceway, with his best finish coming in November of last year in eighth. He has completed 1868 of 1873 laps raced (99.7%) and has zero DNF's at PIR. Montoya has an average starting position of 21.3 and an average finishing position of 19.2 at the one-mile facility.

Martinsville Race Review: Montoya's run to the front was cut short at Martinsville as the No. 42 Target Chevrolet was just about to break into the top-10 when a blown right front tire would change the course of the race. Montoya was forced back to the garage for repairs on the front suspension due to the tire exploding. He returned to the track 100 laps down to finish out the Goody's Fast Pain Relief 500 in 36th.
