Pocono: David Gilliland preview

Driver, David Gilliland:

Did the test session at Pocono last week help build confidence going into this weekend's race?

"We're really looking forward to going to Pocono this weekend. We had a great test last week and that helps to give us a lot of confidence headed into this weekend with that same car. It's a fun track for me because it's unique and different than anything else we race on throughout the year. Pocono always presents teams with a challenge due to the triangular shape and three turns, but we like new challenges. With as well as our car was running in race trim during the test session, I'm confident that we have the ability to have a truly great weekend at Pocono this week so I'm looking forward to getting to Pennsylvania."

Crew Chief, Cully Barraclough:

What were you able to learn about your car from the Pocono test session last week?

"Our test at Pocono last week went pretty good. We unloaded off the truck and ran fairly well with only a few minor adjustments. David (Gilliland) was also pretty happy with how the car shook down during our two days there and I think we saw that we had some pretty decent speed in this car. I feel that we have a few questions still about our qualifying trim but that will be our focus as soon as we can unload this weekend. Looking ahead to this weekend I feel that based off of our lap times during the test session we should fair very well at Pocono on Sunday."
