ELLIOTT SADLER READY TO MAKE UP GROUND IN POCONO

"We got hurt pretty bad in the points last week. I need to make up some ground and Pocono seems like the perfect opportunity to do so."

--Elliott Sadler on a 33rd place finish at Dover.

VIEW FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT WITH ELLIOTT SADLER:

"Pocono has three very distinct corners. You really need to get the handle on all of them but turn three is probably the most important. If you can get off of that corner then you'll haul butt down the front straightaway and that's an easy way to make up some time."

"I think Pocono could be a great track for Robert Yates Racing. RYR is known for bringing a lot of horsepower to the track every weekend and at places like Pocono and Michigan that tends to show up. I really think this weekend will be my best opportunity for a good run at Pocono since I've been racing there."

"It's very important to qualify well at Pocono. Good tack position is always the key to missing wrecks. If the spin is behind you then you don't have to worry about it. The first ten laps of each restart is usually crazy but if you have a good car you can certainly work your way to the front there. It's not like a Bristol where if you start in the back you're going to be lapped in 30 laps. Pocono is huge so you have time to work your way to the front."

VIEW FROM THE PIT BOX WITH CREW CHIEF RAYMOND FOX III:

"We are taking a brand new car to Pocono. To be good at Pocono you have to have a lot of power to get off of turn three and down the front stretch. In the past Robert Yates Racing has run well there, but this year since competition is so tight you have to have a perfect chassis and perfect body - along with good pit stops to win. It's a total package anymore."

SPOTTER BRETT GRIFFIN'S VIEW FROM ABOVE THE TRACK:

"Pocono is a lot like spotting at Michigan and California. I'll work my tail off at the beginning of the race and during re-starts. After about 10 green flag laps the field will settle from three-wide racing into spread out single file racing. The cars that handle well and have a lot of horsepower tend to shine at the unique 2.5 mile Pocono Raceway."
