TEAM CHEVY IN THE RACE TO THE CHASE: With six (6) races remaining in the Race to the Chase, Team Chevy has six drivers in the top-12:

TEAM CHEVY ON THE TRACK -- POCONO RACEWAY: Team Chevy drivers have won 24 of 63 previous NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) races at Pocono Raceway, more than any other manufacturer

TEAM CHEVY - FROM THE DRIVER'S SEAT --POCONO RACEWAY:

TONY STEWART, NO. 14 OLD SPICE/OFFICE DEPOT IMPALA SS: "All three corners are different (at Pocono Raceway) -- that's the most challenging part. It seems like you can always get your car good in two of the three corners, but the guys who are contending for the win are the guys who can get their car good for all three corners, which is very hard to do. It seems like if we can get our car to go through the tunnel turn well, then we're normally able to get it to go through the rest of the racetrack well. The tunnel turn seems to be our toughest turn on the racetrack. Getting through turn two and the last corner of the racetrack that's flat, long and sweeping -- those seem to be the toughest two corners to get through. And if you're a little bit off, you're a bunch off. If there's a guy who can get all three of those corners right, then that's the guy who's going to win the race."

JEFF GORDON, NO. 24 DUPONT IMPALA SS: "I'm always learning here. With its three very different corners, it's a unique track that offers unique challenges we don't see anywhere else. They're all unique to themselves and always make for some great racing with that long front straightaway. As many laps and miles that I have driven around this track, I'm still trying to figure it out."

JIMMIE JOHNSON, NO. 48 LOWE'S IMPALA SS: "I know we won a couple races (at Pocono Raceway), but it's been tough on us since I guess the 2003 season, whenever it was. We've been getting closer to winning a race there. I think the spring race we were in contention and running second at the end, ran out of gas. I'm excited coming off of Indy. Those tracks are somewhat similar. We'll see how it works. The tunnel turn is similar to a lot of the turns at Indy. Turn three, the overall principles that work in turn three, also apply to Indy. But the thing that's changing is how rough turn one is. As time goes on, the bumps are getting bigger and bigger there. The springs and shocks we need to run to get through those bumps are much different than the Indy setup now. I think we really have to look at our Pocono race in the spring versus the race we had at Indy for a setup."

RYAN NEWMAN, NO. 39 HAAS AUTOMATION/U.S. ARMY IMPALA SS: "I look forward to it (racing at Pocono Raceway). It's one of my favorite race tracks. I just like it because it's different. The front straightaway can be boring when you're out front but that's a good problem to have. As a driver it's challenging because all three corners are different. Because it's challenging that way the crew chief has to compensate and the driver has to compensate. Dover is pretty symmetric and once you get one end right you've got the other end pretty close and here it's a challenge. I look forward to it."
