Car: No. 9 Melling Racing Ford Car Owner: Mark Melling Sponsor: TBS Dinner & A Movie
1999 Stats and Facts: Nadeau posted the best finish of his NASCAR Winston Cup career -- eighth -- in the DieHard 500 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway April 25. Nadeau's best qualifying effort this year was June 25 at Sears Point (Sonoma, Calif.) Raceway, where he started third. Nadeau finished 23rd in the June 20 Pocono 500 after starting 30th in the event. Nadeau's No. 9 Melling Racing Ford will feature a special paint scheme from Cartoon Network's sister company, TBS Superstation, for the Pennsylvania 500. The car highlights TBS's favorite Friday night show, Dinner & A Movie, which features hosts Paul Gilmartin and Annabelle Gurwitch creating delicious meals while showing a popular movie. 1998 Stats and Facts: Nadeau started 34th and finished 26th in the July race at Pocono Raceway. Nadeau's season-high finish was 15th at Watkins Glen (N.Y.) International.
Nadeau's best qualifying position was at Sears Point Raceway, where he started second.
Nadeau's Thoughts on Pocono Raceway: "We finished 23rd at Pocono in June with a bent-up race car, so we know we have a good chance when we go back this time. We've got a really good qualifying and race setup package ready to go for this weekend. "I really like Pocono. The last race was good for me even though I got pushed into the wall early in the deal while I was trying to pass another car. That bent the rear end of the car really bad, but we were still able to hold it together for a solid finish. With the adjustments we made during the race and the things we learned about the track, we should have a good race."
