THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME FOR ELLIOTT SADLER

Elliott Sadler's view from the driver's seat:

"Last race at Richmond we had a terrible qualifying attempt, but turned it around pretty good in the race. We were up to 13th before I got wrecked. This time around with a new car we hope to qualify as well as we have been on some of these other tracks so we have good track position right off the bat. I love Richmond because it's only 90 miles from home (Emporia). I always have lots of family and friends there so I am looking forward to it. I think its possible with 11 races to go to get up into the top-15 in points. This M&M'S team is getting back into the groove."

CREW CHIEF TODD PARROTT'S VIEW FROM THE PIT BOX:

"We are looking forward to Richmond. We have built a brand new in-house car to take especially for Richmond and have made some chassis adjustment to make the car better during qualifying trim. The boys over at the chassis shop are working hard to get some more chassis built for us. Either way, this team is headed in the right direction."

SPOTTER BRETT GRIFFIN'S VIEW FROM ABOVE THE TRACK:

"Richmond is home for Elliott so he really wants to run well there. For spotters, Richmond has been somewhat of a challenge in the past. The spotter's stand view from turn one was lower than what we're used to. Because of that we couldn't see the bottom groove in turn three. The track has built a new stand and we'll be trying it out this weekend. Night racing is always fun and exciting and the drivers seem to be more aggressive at night for some reason."
